This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced manager of high profile Drupal websites with a track record of developing exceptional online user experience. You will be responsible for the day-to-day business management of www.london.gov.uk, ensuring that it delivers a relevant, up-to-date and engaging experience for users, and enables Londoners to take advantage of the Greater London Authority’s work.
Reviewing and publishing content to the site, you will work with a large group of people from across the organisation ensuring both user journey and SEO are at the forefront of your work. As a champion of user experience, you will design and maintain wireframes and functional specifications that also meet our organisational needs. You will support the development and delivery of a site development roadmap, to ensure that we continue to innovate and develop our infrastructure to take advantage of new digital opportunities. You will also help to provide a digital planning service to the GLA, with responsibility for scoping, defining, delivering and analysing digital projects.
Significant experience of creating wireframes and producing functional specifications to meet organisational and user needs, and of customising copy and content for Drupal websites, is essential. You have used content management systems to publish, edit and manage content on public-facing websites, and you have a demonstrable track record of analysing website usage data (Google Analytics) and using your insights to recommend and make improvements. A proven track record of working with business stakeholders, designers, developers and external suppliers as co-ordinator of projects to deliver website assets is vital, as is the ability to provide Drupal CMS training.
