Our client is one of the world’s biggest brands and a leading provider of a powerful, secure and highly-scalable multichannel, SaaS-based ecommerce platform. Their intuitive and easy-to-use management toolset allows retailers to manage and grow their online business efficiently, precisely and cost-effectively.

The role of Senior Account Manager is to develop, maintain, and grow relationships with key sellers, including a £500MM+ tier 1 retailer. The Senior Account Manager will actively manage high-value customers, acting as the primary owner of these relationships post launch by on-boarding. A key job function will be growing existing client revenue by implementation of initiatives around traffic driving, conversion and fulfilment.
The Senior Account Manager must be able to balance managing a team of three, with achieving client objectives, while serving as an advocate for the account internally. The Senior Account Manager will work with sales, product management, on-boarding and engineering to identify product improvements that have global relevance and work to drive the voice of the seller for those improvements. Additionally, the Senior Account Manager will analyse the effectiveness of seller activities, and recommend opportunities to improve sales with existing tools and processes.
Suitable candidates will possess a successful track record of managing B2B Sales or Account Management teams within Ecommerce, Retail, SaaS or a related industry. With a polished, consultative approach to sales, you will need to be able to communicate a value proposition to a wide range of people at all decision maker levels. You will also need strong analytical skills, either in a professional experience or education.
