Our client is a luxury fashion and homewares business, comprising of two internationally renowned brands, based in West London. Through their retail stores, they have established a strong relationship with local customers for over a decade and have now developed an e-commerce set-up to broaden the customer base on an international scale. Focussing on original, high-quality products, they offer a truly unique shopping experience regardless of whether you are in-store or online. They are now looking to recruit a talented, hands-on individual to manage the entire digital set-up, including traffic acquisition, onsite conversion and back-end fulfilment.
This role will be largely based around developing the digital presence of both brands and increasing the online revenue. Your first task will be to develop the strategy to help grow the business and meet the pre-agreed KPIs. There will be a number of quick-wins for you to initiate immediately, including setting-up and delivering online campaigns as well as site development projects.
Managing an internal team, you will oversee the day to day running of the website and investigate new channels for the business to utilise. You will also help with the optimisation of online journeys to improve the customer experience, keeping the brands’ unique offerings in mind at all times. You will also be expected to forecast growth, to ensure the business is prepared from a back-end perspective and to maintain the high-levels of customer service.
We are looking for an exceptional online candidate, with a commercially-focused career history and a solid understanding of the luxury/premium retail sector (fashion, homewares, jewellery, gifts and accessories). Ideally you will have worked for a small/start-up business and will be comfortable with that environment. This is an extremely hands-on role, so it is imperative that you can demonstrate a solid understanding of Online Marketing, including paid media, organic search and affiliates/partnerships. You will also need a strong background in website management, including analytics, conversion optimisation and web merchandising. International experience would be great, but is not essential. A strong grasp of the UK market is required.
