Job Description

An enthusiastic and motivated Online Marketing Executive is required to
provide maternity leave cover. The role supports the Online Marketing
Manager in delivering intermediary marketing activity across all digital
channels, plus maintenance and development of the intermediary website:

Key Responsibilities

Support the Online Marketing Manager to deliver online marketing and
development activity including:

- Delivery of email communications programme
- Website maintenance and CMS updates
- Video production support: filming, editing, approval, distribution
- Support and deliver search and display advertising workstreams
- Social media: support delivery of new initiatives
- Writing / editing copy for web and email
- Ensure all digital content produced is in line with Brand and web writing guidelines
- Ensure budget log is kept up to date for all digital spend and invoices processed in
a timely manner
- Ensure all digital activity is compliant, liaising with Advertising Standards, Product
Technical as necessary

The unit trust business has begun to establish itself as a key UK provider of actively
managed and passive investment funds. We are in the top ten providers in terms of
assets under management. The unit trust business is of key strategic importance to
Legal & General and has ambitious growth plans for the next three years.

This role is on a fixed term basis to cover maternity leave until January 2014

Candidate Requirements

- Experience in a similar online marketing position
- Proactive, organised, and delivery-focussed
- Previous use of CMS and email tools such as Communicator
- Financial services experience essential, preferably within asset management.
Investment knowledge preferred.
- Understanding of compliance and advertising standards processes used within
asset management
- Good grammar and spelling. Accuracy and attention to detail essential
- Design: experience of using full Macromedia suite desirable but not essential
