A leading Global Financial Services organisation has an exciting opportunity for a Social Media Manager to join their Global Digital Customer Engagement team where they will support the Head of Social Media to accelerate the adoption of social media platforms and best practice across the business. You will lead the development of a holistic social media strategy for the company and support its delivery across both the B2C and B2B areas of the business.
To be considered for this role you will be a Social Media subject matter expert with experience of bringing new social media initiatives to market. You will have a clear track record of delivery of customer, brand and commercial/business benefits. In addition you will have the ability to articulate the different roles that social media platforms (Facebook, YouTube, Flickr, Forums) can play and how they integrate and create synergy with traditional channels (direct, advertising, sponsorship). Excellent relationship and influencing skills are essential together with the ability to present to both internal and external stakeholders to negotiate buy-in on proposed strategic projects. A persuasive communicator you will be able to convey complex date in a logical and easy to understand style.
