You see, in the grand scheme of things your specialist skills are just as important in solving our customers’ home emergencies as the skills of those holding the spanners or taking the calls. After all, if you don’t do your job well, our engineers and contract centre people can’t do theirs. We exist to help everyone with their home emergencies and repairs.
Our Web Content Manager maintains and manages all content both on and related to the HomeServe family of internet site sites. Responsible for strengthening the HomeServe brand via differentiated Tone of voice and added value content you are also key to enhancing our SEO.
Contributing to the sales performance of the internet channel by way of enhancing sales orientated content and creative positioning, including on site content, display advertising and search
Owning the ICC (Internal Copy Clearance) audit and approval process of online content to FSA standards
Strategically contributing to best practise web user experience and branding through improvement recommendations and product enhancement copy
Liaising with key business stakeholders including marketing, product, corporate and compliance to detail and implement content
Developing the HomeServe Online writing Style Guide
Scoping and supporting the implementation of a content management system to improve and support enhanced internet marketing
Leading the Content Strategy: create and implement best practise Editorial Process, Style/Tone Guide, Taxonomy, Customer Experience and crosslinking opportunities.
Supporting implementation of a best practise Content Management System in collaboration with IT
Managing all content changes across HomeServe family of web sites
Creative copywriting – display, search, campaigns and content
A proven track record as an online Content Manager
Previous experience producing a broad range of online content including display and search advertising, product promotions
Experience in retail sales promotional environments
Strong creative and advertising writing skills
Experienced at working in a regulated environment and understanding of the subsequent impact on content
Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team
Ability to own, address and resolve content problems
Strong organisational skills in order to effectively schedule diverse workloads
Strong attention to detail.
Strong knowledge of best practise online content styles and the ability to sell them to stakeholders
