Job Description

Our client is a world class leisure and entertainment business with an entrepreneurial, hardworking, fast-paced and fun company culture, which seeks an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst. This is a newly created role, reflecting an increased focus on understanding the company’s customer base.

The Analyst is an advanced database analytics expert who is responsible for the health of the centralised database and ongoing reporting related to customer segmentation and marketing campaigns across multiple channels.

Key Accountabilities:

Analyse customer accounts, transactions, demographics, and campaign responsiveness to build actionable profiling and segmentation

Build capabilities such as response modelling, regression analysis, and predictive modelling that will support personalisation initiatives and customised marketing

Support the marketing team by pulling queries, automating campaigns, and evaluating customer response and marketing effectiveness

Extract data and build reports to assess data health and work with the technical team on ongoing data verification and any clean-up projects

Candidate Requirements

Required Skills:

Strong database marketing and analytics experience

Experience with CRM systems, customer/marketing databases such as Teradata and Oracle, and business intelligence tools such as MicroStrategy and Omniture

Skills in writing complex SQL queries

Ability to model complex data and apply statistical analysis

Expert knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint

Desirable Skills:

Extensive experience with business intelligence systems such as Business Objects and analysis tools such as SAS, Cognos, SPSS, MS Access, and MS Excel
