Reporting into the Online Trading Manager the Online Marketing Assistant will coordinate online marketing projects and initiatives across the brand. Key responsibilities will include SEM, Social Media Campaigns, Direct Mail and responsibility for coordination and support of online and offline promotions.
The Online Marketing Assistant will conduct research and compile reports, monitoring and evaluating the success of marketing campaigns. Reporting on a weekly and monthly basis to management to include accurate tracking and measurement of response rate, campaign cost, cost per customer, return on investment, channel effectiveness, data source effectiveness, copy / creative effectiveness, split testing etc.
Desired skills and experience :
Experience and specialist knowledge of digital marketing, specifically affiliate, SEM, social and email with exposure to CRM databases.
Proven track record in representing a brand in social media, in publishing editorial content for a brand or media channel.
Intimately familiar with social media platforms and their respective audiences (Facebook, Twitter, Google+, etc); strong understanding of how they can be deployed in different scenarios for varying purposes and audiences.
Experience blogging and/or working directly with bloggers.
Strong experience of using social media engagement monitoring tools and analytics packages (Google, Omniture etc)and the ability to draw conclusions and actions from data.
Knowledge of HTML and Excel is advantageous and a good understanding of an Email Broadcast system and its reporting tool is also desirable.
Attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment is essential.
To be considered for the Online Marketing Assistant role you must have at least 2 year's online marketing experience with an online fashion retailer.
