One of their most innovative funcations is now recruiting a Senior Ecommerce Manager.

The primary role of the Senior Ecommerce Manager will be to deliver online marketing and sales through innovative and fresh digital techniques, These objectives will be achieved on the back of your first-rate digital expertise, most likely gained in the digital function of a forward-thinking consumer business where success is judged very much on commercial achievements, be they marketing ROI, digital metrics such as CPA, CTR etc or basic sales performance.

Your role will entail the following measures of success:
•Growing Online sales through continual optimisation of the online journey
•Developing “best in class” customer online experience
•Delivering greater commercial value from online customers
•Delivering innovation to our partners
•Supporting the roll out and promotion of initiatives and new ideas with partners
•Pushing the ecommerce agenda within the group and directly with partners
•Developing the self-service initiative and actively pursuing the adoption of online self service

The partnership-nature of this business will dictate that a strong communicator with excellent relationship management skills and commercial acumen is required. You will also be adept at monitoring, reviewing and optimising online trading performance and will take management of 2-3 direct reports.

The successful candidate will have strong hands-on experience of digital acquisition channels / techniques such as SEO, PPC, aggregaors, affiliates or display. You may also have gained your experience in a media agency but will certainly be a commercially-strong individual with excellent relationship skills.
