The role of Marketing Coordinator EMEA is to assist the local marketing team with the execution of external communications, internal communications, messaging, lead generation campaigns, events, data/CRM, product collateral and online management.
The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, both written and verbal and be able to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
The Marketing Coordinator will work alongside the local marketing team to ensure that all marketing activities are carried out in an effective manner in accordance with the regional marketing plan. In addition, the successful candidate will be required to work as part of a global virtual team providing support to the Head of Marketing and regional marketing managers in Asia, Australia and the US as required.
As the conduit between sales and marketing, the Marketing Coordinator will help to create and manage online and offline marketing campaigns ensuring that all leads are followed up on in a timely manner by working alongside the Inside Sales team. In addition, the successful candidate will be required to effectively manage logistical elements of campaign tactics such as email marketing, direct marketing, social media, webinars and telemarketing.
*Media, Public Relations and Messaging
The Marketing Coordinator will assist the Head of Messaging and Content and the local PR agency to help ensure the team manages and delivers on Telstra’s European Media and Analyst relations plan, ensuring clarity and consistency across all external facing messages.
The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for the logistical execution of the annual events calendar which includes trade shows, seminars, roundtables and customer events. This involves creating invitations and landing pages, promotion through email and social media, briefing speakers and working with third party venue and media suppliers.
*Content Development & Distribution
A further responsibility of the Marketing Coordinator is to work alongside the brand agency and product marketing team to help create content to support marketing campaigns such as case studies, product overviews, presentations and social media and blog posts in line with the product roadmap.
The Marketing Coordinator will also be required to assist with managing internal events, sales kick-offs, employee newswires and the intranet as required by the internal employee engagement plan.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

E – Excellent written and verbal communication skills
E – Knowledge and interest in B2B and technology marketing
E – A recognised marketing qualification and passion for the marketing discipline
E – Demonstrable examples of conducting successful marketing campaigns
E – MS Office applications – Word, Outlook, Excel etc.
D – 2+ years of experience in either a Marketing or Telco / IT Services role
D – Demonstrable events management experience
D – Experience with working in Adobe Creative Suite
D – Experience with HTML/CSS and email marketing platforms
*Commercially savvy and strong business acumen with a sense of market awareness
*Keen to learn with a strong desire to build a career in B2B marketing
*Able to focus on multiple tasks and take on challenging projects against tight deadlines
*Able to perform in a flexible working environment across multiple time zones
*Attention to detail and consciousness of the value in measurement and KPI metrics
*The ability to establish, build and foster relationships with Telstra staff, suppliers and customers both locally and globally and at a variety of levels of seniority

*The ability to own and bring to conclusion a plan against clear action points and issues
