Primarily, you will manage a team 3 and be expected to provide genuine insight into how the business shapes it’s future strategy, particularly with respect to it the measurement and reporting for new areas such as social media, device apps, connected TV and VOD. You will be expected to manage all BAU requirements whilst looking for ways in which to add value and insight to colleagues and senior team members.
Secondly, you will manage all online activities in respect of tracking, reporting, analytics and optimisation. As an integral part of the senior level, multi-disciplinary team, you will have a number of key tasks which will include keeping abreast of all 3rd -party analytics vendors and establishing relationships with suppliers that can add significant value.
This is very much an all encompassing position that requires a high level of intellect, the ability to manage people, significant budgets, meet numerous deadlines and most importantly gain buy-in from senior level stakeholders.
We are looking for a highly capable, personally engaging individual with the ability to drive innovation through large, multi-channel businesses. You will have proven experience of using insight to deliver business solutions and shape strategy and have demonstrable experience in web analytics and be used to working with tools such as Omniture, Comscore, Maxymiser or similar.
You will possess a natural curiosity, set incredibly high personal standards for quality and thoroughness and be tech savvy.
You will most likely have gained this experience in a business that publishes a blend of content delivered through a variety of channels, some of which may be on demand. Web experience in a dynamic and changing environment is crucial.
