As Online Marketing Manager, within our John Lewis Insurance team, you will deliver an effective online acquisition marketing plan. You’ll be responsible for implementing campaigns which support John Lewis and achieve our agreed commercial objectives.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will develop an annual online marketing strategy to deliver against agreed business plans. You will monitor performance and recommend changes as appropriate. We’ll look to you to identify new strategic opportunities for John Lewis Financial Services by staying up to date with what else is happening in the industry. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the effective use of the online marketing mix, within an integrated marketing strategy to drive cost effective sales to johnlewis-insurance.com and partnershipcard.co.uk - these channels will include but are not limited to: email, search, affiliate, affinity, display and price comparison engine marketing. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that any John Lewis Financial Services brand is accurately reflected in all marketing activity.
We’ll expect you to lead the management of our digital marketing agencies, ensuring that all KPI’s are met. You will be a key member of the wider marketing team, and a key influencer across John Lewis Financial Services teams, providers, agencies and the wider business. You’ll manage the online acquisition team, supporting their ongoing development.
Please note that this is a six - nine month fixed term contract covering maternity leave.
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- extensive experience of online marketing (c.7 years) ideally within the Financial Services industry and will include multichannel experience
- a marketing or equivalent qualification
- strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to deal with multiple stakeholders at all levels
- budget and agency management experience
- previous people management experience
