Detail focussed, Analytical and Adaptable – as Web Analytics Analyst you will focus on providing
operational models, metrics, analysis and performance improvement recommendations to deliver
efficiencies and improvements across our websites. You’ll collate and present web metrics from a
number of sources – interpreting that data, identifying trends and escalating where appropriate. In
partnership with our internal Business Information team (Sky IQ) you’ll design and deliver the MI suite
to support regular and ad hoc reporting and measurements which support and track the optimisation
of our online customer experience.
Our e-Experience team focus on supporting our current and future customer base by designing,
delivering and managing Sky’s online/digital sales, service and help channels; ensuring they are
intuitive, efficient and built with our customers’ needs at heart. The Web Analytics Analyst sits within
the Self Service optimisation team who are responsible for the end to end customer interaction with
our online/digital channels; understanding how our customers interact and translating that into insight
and strategies that deliver a continuously improving, relevant and “human” experience that exceeds
our customers’ expectations.
You’ll be an expert with Excel and data analysis tools with previous success creating dashboards and
end user reports which add true value to the team and organisation. Ideally you’ll have experience of
the Omniture suite of tools (or similar/comparable) alongside advanced Excel/Access/VBA skills. With
an understanding of digital channel technology, metrics and practices, ideally you’ll have delivered in
an online focussed position previously.
