A brand new role has arisen at this online consumer finance brand, part of a hugely successful global financial services organisation, based in a fantastic Berkshire location.

A multi-million ATL campaign launched earlier this year supporting digital activity and the ambitious growth plans that are in place. They are currently smashing targets and as a result a fresh raft of investment has been allocated by the U.S. This will be largely used to recruit more expertise and increase budget in specialist Digital Marketing, E-Commerce and Product Development areas. Their proposition is innovative and brings something fresh to the market, which, coupled with a talented and hard-working team is why they are seeing such fantastic growth and success.

As such, we are looking for an innovative Web Content Manager, based here in the UK or in their U.S Offices. Responsibilities include:

Web content management

Plan and delivers all landing page delivery road map- from BAU (content changes including copy, links, formatting (through WYSIWYG editor/CMS) and images) to proactive content development in line with business needs and commercial returns
Works in partnership with Analytics and Control Manager to prioritise content updating in line with data insight
Co-ordinate change of copy across all platforms in the UK and US: Desktop, apps, mobile and tablet sites

Graphic content management

Monitor effectiveness and accuracy of all graphics assets- manage all asset updating, with support of third party design agencies on larger tasks
Brief and co ordinate timely delivery of new graphic requirements with agency partners
Management of image library and hosting solution across UK and US teams to ensure long term asset safety
Source new images as and when needed
Source and assess new potential design agency partners

Video content management

Source and recommend video production suppliers with proven track record in producing highest standard customer service/ informational/product demo video material for PC and mobile browsers
Plan, project-manage and deliver creation of video content from start to finish with specialist agencies

Content auditing

Periodically review, recommend and deliver updates across full sites for content errors (typos, grammar, jargon…)
Accessibility auditing and recommendations

Editorial Lead

Plan, prioritise and deliver new content for marketing, SEO, Product and Retention teams either in –house or with support of specialist agencies on larger tasks
Self managed, focused, tenacious, driven
Second to none attention to detail

Candidate Requirements

Key Skills

Excellent copy writing skills with proven track record of having delivered effective, customer focused content in online B2C environment
Good level graphic design skills (Photoshop etc….)
Ability to multi task and prioritise effectively in line with business strategy
Ability to balance delivery of quick wins and long term strategy pieces
Ability to cope well with the demands of a rapidly growing company and fast changing pace of digital industry
Self motivated, driven and result focus
Knowledge of CMS, WYSIWYG editors and basic/medium level HTML
Knowledge of SEO impact through copy and rich media content creation
Knowledge of video best practice and production management (product/customer service angle)
Knowledge of online retail industry
Knowledge of Photoshop/Graphic design basis


Worked in online B2C marketing environment for at least 2 years in a area management role or senior executive role ready for the next move up
Proven experience of managing and briefing third party agencies
Proven experience of delivering customer focused, convincing online content
Previous editorial experience a bonus (copy or rich media)
Understanding of video production process and needs (informational content)
