Job Description

Day to day duties will include:
Setting up advanced tracking, profiles, goal conversion tracking, and custom filters in Google Analytics
Support campaign managers with keyword research, performance forecasts & ROI analysis
Supporting campaign managers and clients to measure campaign performance and provide strategy ideas based on insights from this data
Providing training to campaign managers and clients to help them gain the most value from their data
Create documentation relating to advanced Analytics implementation for both internal & client reference
Able to recommend new tools, KPIs, metrics, and best practices
Provide daily support for reporting, tracking implementation & troubleshooting
Testing current internal processes and digital marketing strategies to quantify performance and drive improvement
Owning and Interpreting data from a wide number of sources to improve internal processes, client results and ultimately client satisfaction

Candidate Requirements

Key Skills

Proven analytical skills & a love for numbers
A working understanding of integrated digital marketing strategy
Able to work with clients and campaign managers to set sensible, measureable KPIs
Able to extract insights from data and to turn these into actionable technical and content recommendations
Comfortable presenting and explaining ideas to clients
General understanding of usability and conversion optimisation
A fine attention to detail
An ambition to grow your own reputation and the reputation of both SiteVisibility in the field of analytics and digital insights through blog posting and public events.

Graduate or equivalent in business, mathematics, statistics or similar
2+ years of experience in online marketing, preferably in an agency
Would preferably possess a Google Analytics certification or other systems
Advanced understanding of web analytics tools with proven experience using best practice to implement and use:
Setting up goals and funnels
Custom reporting
Custom dashboards
Advanced profile configuration
Tracking code configuration
Experience in web analytics methodologies such as
audience segmentation analysis
experimentation and multivariate testing
competitive analysis
Experience of the following tools to analyse, interpret, draw conclusions and summarize information, and present these conclusions in written reports and/ or verbal presentations
Google Analytics
3rd party reporting (e.g. Linkdex / Raven Tools)
Onsite crawlers (e.g. SEOMoz)
Link Profile Analysis tools (e.g. Majestic SEO)
A/B / Multivariant testing tools (e.g. Google Website Optimizer / content experiments)
CRM systems for data integration
Experience tracking
Direct emails
Landing pages
Adwords campaigns
Display & Affiliates
Social Media
Other online and offline marketing.
Experience performing keyword & competitor research
Familiarity with statistics (regression, correlation, statistical significance, confidence intervals) a plus
Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS
