The words ‘To Fly. To Serve.’ have been painted on the tailfins of British Airways aircraft since we first took to the skies. Although they’re rarely noticed, they’re always at the heart of everything we do. As the specialist for paid search within British Airways, it will be your role to achieve visibility and ensure we continue to grow and maximize our direct potential from this channel.
To make that happen, you’ll see that British Airways’ PPC campaigns are optimised across multiple markets, devices and for a range of search engines, and monitor activity to ensure targets are being met. The agency relationship will be down to you to manage, so you’ll need to set and monitor clear targets for them to deliver against. You’ll also coordinate reporting with acquisition agencies and work with them to make sure campaign optimisation processes are in place.
Handling the analysis of cross-channel campaign performance, you’ll ensure we learn from that and apply it to any future campaigns. In addition, you’ll develop the quarterly Comms Plan alongside tactical marketing and digital acquisition teams. Your combined knowledge of the PPC industry and our business plan will help you provide budget recommendations.
As a Google Adwords professional, you’ll have impressive experience in digital marketing, and a record of success in PPC. You’ll have an impressive knowledge of search marketing and optimisation techniques as a whole and bid management tools. Added to that, you’ll be familiar with back end processes in online tracking and reporting, and be comfortable in working to challenging goals and commercial targets.
