This is a great opportunity to play a key part in the expansion of our custom training products and consultancy services working from our Asia base out of Singapore. We began operating events and training in Singapore in 2011, and are opening our new offices in Singapore during 2012. You will be part of our rapidly growing regional team for Asia based in Singapore.
Econsultancy is seeking a full time Marketing & Account Manager for Asia as part of its expansion in the region. Based in Singapore, you’ll spearhead the management of marketing, A&P and PR of Econsultancy’s membership, public training and events to our key client and agency members and prospective members in Asia, as well as support and manage key relationships providing training and consulting services for a broad number of our global and local clients.
Reporting to the Commercial Director, Asia, you’ll also be part of the global Marketing team, based in London. You should have at least three years solid marketing management experience, ideally with membership, B2B or events marketing experience. In addition to working in a key marketing capacity, you will take on a central role in developing and coordinating cutting-edge training and consulting for some of the world’s leading brands.
In a diverse and varied hands on role, this is an ideal opportunity for the successful candidate to either develop into the regional marketing head, or into a senior Account Management role as our business expands over the next couple of years.
•Managing and executing the marketing programme for events in the Asian region to sell sponsorship packages and attract delegates
•Work with the global commercial team to devise and execute campaigns to help meet sponsorship revenue goals
•Planning and driving on and offline marketing campaigns to both attract new members as well as upgrade current subscribers
•Driving content marketing to build membership base through email, SEO, PR and social channels
•Manage email and direct marketing - from design through to fulfilment
•Act as project manager to ensure training processes, documentation and consultancy services are delivered on time and to budget
•Check and proof outgoing training content, marketing material and any proposals, including formatting
•Serve as a key point of contact for handling day-to-day client and member enquiries for Asia
•Working closely with our regional trainers and consultants in delivering a broad range of training and marketing services
•Managing and executing the marketing programme for Econsultancy's Asian public training programme to raise awareness, sell places and hit targets
•Managing partnerships with media and trade organisations
•Liaising with the UK-based central marketing team for advice and knowledge-sharing
• Working with the central Econsultancy brand and values to replicate and expand these in the Asian markets
•Working with central Marketing resources and sourcing local marketing suppliers where appropriate
•Monitor, review and report all Marketing activities and results
•Ensure Econsultancy website and online content for Asia is up to date, accurate, relevant and optimised
•3 years+ in marketing management
•Event or conference organising experience
•Experience of planning and executing integrated marketing campaigns
•Knowledge of the Asian media
•Direct marketing: selection and segmentation of data, messaging etc.
•Experience of developing media partnerships
•Some experience in handling client relationships at a management level and/or working with agencies and technology vendors
•Strong written and verbal communications skills
•Copywriting skills and attention to detail
•Project and time management skills
•Marketing budget management experience
•Demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, flexibility and enthusiasm
•B2B or B2C marketing experience, at least some of it digital
•Strong interest or background in digital marketing
•Previous account management experience in an agency based environment or working with agencies on the client side
•Singaporeans or PRs preferred
