We've an opportunity for a Business Analyst to work in our high profile and brand new team within our Chief Operating Office, Corporate Banking division at The Royal Bank of Scotland Group based in London.  
Our Business & Commercial Banking business supports over 1.3 million customers and is unique in the UK banking sector as we provide the complete SME solution under one roof, from start up businesses to medium size enterprises turning over £25 million per annum. And as we continue to rebuild the RBS Group to a position of standalone strength, our Digital team is playing a key role in helping us achieve this goal. Our Business & Commercial customers increasingly want have the ability to manage their businesses online and the Digital team is playing a vital role in transforming our customer proposition to facilitate this.       is a new, free to use website powered by NatWest and RBS. It's available for all UK SMEs to get business leads, find new customers, find new suppliers for a product or service and get information that can help their business, either from peers or experts on the site or by watching videos and reading articles.
As a Business Analyst, you’ll be a critical member of a small digital team where you’ll need to be experienced at implementing and launching a user-generated content website or social media platform, using Agile methodologies, preferably Scrum. You’ll pro-actively identify opportunities to extend our existing website, services and their features. And will work with both the business and technical suppliers, in order to shape the requirements, develop high-level user journeys, designs and artifacts, ensuring that all business requirements are clearly defined and documented. As a Business Analyst for, your key deliverables will be to elicit requirements using techniques such as interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, task and workflow analysis.  
To be successful as a Business Analyst for, you’ll need a proven track record of delivering user-generated content or social media digital projects. As well as a proven track record of working within agile project management principles, including familiarity with agile artifacts, for example; product backlogs, sprint backlogs, estimating and release planning. You'll need to have extensive stakeholder management experience in a complex matrix structure with an ability to foster strong relationships with, and liaise between, the business units, technology teams and support teams. It’s also important to have experience working with third party suppliers to deliver within short time iterations, for example, ‘sprint’ and actively ensuring the delivery of sprint goals. Naturally, you'll have strong analytical and product management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into functional and operational requirements. And you’ll have exposure to and familiarity working with content management frameworks and search technologies such as SOLR or LUCENE.
