We think you'll like this one. This role sits across the breadth of biddable media (namely PPC, Facebook marketing and RTB display), with full training, swanky offices and some great clients. What's not to like?
The role sits in a company within a company - the media division is a 15-strong hub which sits at the centre of a major advertising agency (more like 200-people strong). The company specialises in digital media - PPC, SEO, social media and display planning and buying to be precise, and has a strong leaning towards data and technology too. They're a smart bunch and they're looking for someone smart to join as their new digital media executive.
The role itself is mainly concerned with 'biddable media' - that is, any form of media which is traded over an auction-based platform. PPC is a big part of this role, as is running activity through Facebook's marketing platform. The sort of person we're looking for likes numbers and data, a problem-solver. It'll help if your'e organised and love a spreadsheet - the position will be heavily focussed on data and insight after all. For this reason, we're going to lean towards people who have numerical degrees/A-levels purely because it suggests a numerical bias. The rest you'll be taught - we're not looking for a digital marketing expert.
This is a nice company, with smart people and a good client list. You'll get a lot of exposure here, learn loads and it's a great place to start your career in digital. Office-wise, think exposed brick, glass, white furnitue, fridges stocked with free beer, lots of noise and movement and you're about right.
