The growth in Hackett's sales of its clothing and accessories is supported by the appealing British world presented in its gentlemen's club-like stores, strong seasonal photography and via sponsorships of world class teams & events such as the BAFTA Film Awards, the Boat Race and Aston Martin Racing.
As a key part of the company's growth strategy, Hackett.com has recently undergone a transformation, with a complete redesign and replatforming of its website. With further developments and international expansion planned, an opportunity has arisen for an Online Marketing Manager to join the team at this very exciting period for the business.
Based in our head office in Butlers Wharf, and reporting to our Head of Online, you will be responsible for the development of profitable digital marketing communication campaigns for Hackett.com and the identification of opportunities to maximise traffic and sales revenue for the site. Defining strategies to grow, and utilising access to the Hackett customer database, you will take full budgetary responsibility for online marketing, communicating the brand online and bringing visitors to the site to browse and ultimately, buy.
As custodian of the Hackett brand online, you will liaise with all functions across the business, but particularly, work closely with brand marketing/sponsorship, PR and key agencies, including the web development and marketing agencies, to help deliver your plans.
You must have proven ability to strategically plan and tactically operate digital marketing campaigns, particularly around email, display and PPC and be fully conversant with the latest SEO techniques. You will be familiar with the opportunities to be driven out of social media, and be able to demonstrate a natural enthusiasm to explore this further in advancing the brand in this space. You will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to gain engagement for, and deliver new projects within the business (specifically the establishing of a CRM programme).
Your proven use of web and mobile, in driving traffic and sales, and experience in using web analytics to inform the decision making process, will make you an excellent candidate for this role. It is also important that you have an appreciation for premium brands as an understanding of premium or luxury consumers, is essential to effectively market to them.
