Can you generate effective campaigns across the full marketing mix?
If so, you could be a Campaign Manager for the Rural Payments Agency (RPA) – which helps the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) to encourage a thriving farming and food sector and strong rural communities.
The RPA makes Common Agricultural Policy support payments, traces livestock and carries out inspections. It manages over 40 schemes, paying farmers and traders more than £2billion each year. In this key, temporary role, you will develop and manage our customer communications campaigns. The aim is to encourage our farmer customers to go online and you’ll use a cost-effective mix of channels to achieve exactly that. It means developing an annual communication strategy and addressing barriers to online use. You’ll also need to work with contacts across RPA and Defra to make sure your solutions meet the organisations’ requirements.
It’s therefore essential that you are an experienced planner and marketer, with the ability to generate communications campaigns across the full marketing mix. Creative and ideas-driven, you will have what it takes to embed evaluation and tracking into communication strategies; identify trends in customer behaviour; and assess the effectiveness of communications. Strong project management skills are a must along with good written English. A degree (or equivalent) in Marketing or a related discipline would be an advantage but isn’t essential.
