An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Web Developer to join our E-Commerce team to support the Society's redevelopment and ongoing optimisation of its websites.  The main purpose of this role will be to develop new website functionality in relation to business requirements, utilising ASP.NET and the Sitecore Content Management platform to achieve this.

The role holder will work closely with the E-Commerce team, Communications Managers and wider Marketing team to support marketing campaigns and drive business efficiency by fully utilising the new Sitecore system.  The role holder will be required to develop new code in response to business requirements, support testing of code releases, resolve technical issues as well as providing recommendations to enhance the society's online offering on desktop, mobile and web applications.

This role would suit someone who has an understanding of Sitecore as a CMS, with a strong knowledge of web development languages to include ASP.NET, HTML, JavaScript & JQuery in addition to a sound understanding of web hosting architecture and IIS.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills as communicating ideas succinctly whilst having the conviction to propose and stand by technical decisions where appropriate is key to this role.  You will have the ability to prioritise, manage multiple complex projects, and demonstrate financial acumen.

If you are an experienced web developer with a passion for a new challenge, we would love to hear from you.
