Our client is one of the largest and most successful online shopping channels, allowing millions of active buyers the opportunity to purchase from sellers globally every year. With Design teams located across London, Berlin and Zurich. Each Designer is embedded within an agile development team and engaged on multiple externally facing and internal web tool projects across Europe.

Now seeking a passionate, motivated, experienced and talented User Experience Designer to be part of a new and growing team of UX professionals and work alongside the most innovative professionals within the digital world.

You will play an integral role in driving a user-centred design approach in an agile development process. You should be passionate about building easy-to-use, dynamic mobile e-commerce interfaces and experiences that are engaging, simple, functional, valuable and fun! You will want to feel like you work in a start-up, while at the same time having the resources of a large world class company.

This role will give you the opportunity to be an early stage member of the growing in-house European UX Design capability, getting involved in designing visuals, assets and concepts.

You are expected to have at least 2 years' experience of creation of UX concepts, interaction design, information architecture, visual design and using user research results. You will work closely with agile teams to rapidly develop design concepts in an iterative fashion, whilst ensuring a holistic user experience within and across products. You will have the support of a specialist team of user experience researchers.

To be considered for the role you MUST have 2-5 years User Experience Design experience, with good understanding of UX principles for a number of platforms including Desktop, Mobile and Tablet, possess verifiable knowledge of and implementation of various different information architecture patterns, interaction design and visual design implications. Preferably a background in visual design, E-commerce transactional experience preferred, but we will also consider transferable skills from travel, financial services or other domains.

Demonstrable practical experience of all aspects of user centred design, creating UX assets such as customer journeys, sketches, sitemaps, wireframes and rapid development of clickable prototypes to visualise design concepts, using standard industry tools. Good understanding of mWeb and app front-end web technology capabilities such as iOS and Android, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and Ajax capabilities.Experience of running small UX workshops with your product and development colleagues. Comfort in influencing product managers and business stakeholders for your projects. Be able to effectively collaborate, communicate, influence and negotiate with your scrum team product owners and developers. Understanding and experience of both mobile only and responsive design. Knowledge of how user centred design fits within an agile development methodology. Creative problem solving and can demonstrate out-of-the box thinking. Be educated to at least Bachelors level or equivalent. The intellectual curiosity to continuously learning about users' mobile behaviors, industry trends and relevant technological developments .Able to respond to quickly changing priorities and a tolerance for ambiguity.
