Key Responsibilities

●Take complete responsibility for the design and interface team's output. Ensure that the team consistently produce world class, high quality, usable, innovative and creative designs/interfaces across multiple channels and platforms
●Inspire our clients: see opportunities, propose innovation, agree briefs, present work and build relationships. Become a trusted advisor and partner to our clients.
●Support the agency new business function
●Manage the design team on a day to day basis: scheduling and allocating work,

mentoring members of the team, creating a culture of quality, innovation and excellence.
●Establishing and enforcing a design process that means work moves smoothly through the department.
●Acting as the "go to" person for design related issues for the Client Services Team or Technical Team.
●Work closely with the Head of Technology to bridge the gap between design, interface and tech to ensure the smooth development of projects
●Identify areas where the design team can improve, lack resource or needs to develop further skills and raise these with the management team
●Contribute to the ongoing success and development of the agency

Main duties
●To provide high quality, creative designs for digital projects & pitches
●To take a lead role in developing positive and innovative user experiences.
●To take and develop design briefs from clients
●Managing art direction, design, copywriting and production of projects
●Preparing and justifying job estimates
●Quality control, including proofing, reviewing, measuring and evaluating staff performance, creative output and project process(es).
●Managing outside resources, including freelancers and sub­contractors.
●Make decisions on a daily basis that ensure both profitability and creative quality
●To manage your own workflow and ensure a high standard of quality for all work; as well as nurturing and growing a team
●To liaise with programmers, designers, project managers and clients
●To undertake client meetings and pitches as required (solid writing skills required for this)
●To undertake design from concept creation through to production, including artworking, proofing. QA and elements of project management
●With the account lead, assure that internal and client presentations are on time, professional, engaging, persuasive and supported by a sound rationale
●To assist the client services team in producing supporting artwork for pitches and proposals
●Develop creative concepts and visuals for pitches and campaigns
●You will work in collaboration with tech team to ensure that designs feed efficiently into the build and development process.
●Brand development, including logo design, brand architecture and guidelines
●To keep informed about current design trends, usability theory and relevant digital design and technological developments
