Further information

Are you a fashion-savvy strategist?

We are looking for an Online Trading Manager to work with our famous Womenswear department.

It will be up to you to make sure that Harrods.com is the ultimate destination for luxury shopping. Combining your love of fashion with your strong commercial sense, you will work with the Online Merchandiser to decide which stock is most commercially viable, and ensure that it is available and ready for purchase.

It is crucial that you understand our customer base, competitive market, and seasonal fashion trends, so that you can gauge which products will be successful. Equally, using Omniture and working alongside our Web Analyst you must be able to analyse sales performance and site trading metrics, so that you can spot any underperforming areas and make the necessary changes.

With your talent for organisation and methodical manner, you will manage all stages of the online studio production process, from creating an initial production schedule, to ensuring products are successfully uploaded on the decided date using Catalogue Manager (or similar tools).

Your excellent communication skills and personable manner will allow you to develop and maintain relationships with the buying teams and brands. You must be resilient, able to keep your cool under time pressure, and possess the persuasive prowess to influence and advise at all levels.

We are looking for someone who is knowledgeable and imaginative about production processes, ready to challenge existing procedures and suggest innovative alternatives. You will be proactive and leap at the chance to involve yourself in technical project work and set trade strategies.

Ideally you will be from an Ecommerce background, with experience trading and setting online strategies. To be successful, you must have some experience with Womenswear or the luxury market. You will also need to have worked alongside additional teams (such as Marketing and Creative) to make improvements on a website or process, and be a skilled Excel and SAP user with strong experience using a product management tool. You will also have worked within key online projects and delivered commercial results for the trading team within such projects as mobile optimisation.

This is the perfect time to join our team: we have several exciting projects planned for imminent delivery which will need your expertise and input.
