About the role
There’s a lot happening here at the National Trust, especially on the digital front. As part of our drive to connect more meaningfully with our members and supporters we’re embarking on a new three-year digital strategy, including a  redesign of our website and developing a brand new suite of mobile apps for visitors to use to make the most of our places and spaces.

We need you to help us make this happen. Working in the digital team of our internal Marketing Agency, you’ll be the content lead on a broad range of web and mobile development projects. In particular, you’ll be making sure that great user experience is at the heart of each development, to bring our strategy and ambitions to life. Alongside our webmaster, you’ll also test and manage improvements to our content management systems to help our teams create content quickly and efficiently. Working closely with the Digital Marketing Manager, you’ll come up with new ways to enhance and improve our content, our website, our mobile apps and our entire user experience.

About you
Working as a content producer at the moment, you’ll have a digital content background, whether in development or editorial. You’ll have impressive practical experience and knowledge of user experience and user journeys, and, vitally, mobile apps. If you’ve worked in or with charities before, that’s even better. But more than anything, you’ll be keen to help us improve the tools we have - and eager to help us develop new ones - that we can use to give our audiences an even more personalised experience.

It’s about more than just going the extra mile but really believing in it. Every day, everything that you do will help to impress your colleagues and create a truly unforgettable experience for our visitors.

Incredibly rewarding
We expect a lot, but we’ll offer a great deal in return, starting with stimulating and challenging work and the opportunity to help us achieve our bold ambitions. You can also look forward to free admission to all our incredible places, plus a helpful 20% off at our shops, cafes and restaurants. But they’re just the benefits we can tell you about here.
