Our client has enjoyed no end of success over the course of the last few years and as part of their ongoing commitment to their social media content they are recruiting a Social Media Manager/Writer.
This is an exciting dual role for someone that has a background in journalism / copy looking to get further involved in building an ecommerce brands social strategy. To be successful in your application you must be able to demonstrate experience of working on copy for retail brands.
The end goal is simple, to further improve their social footprint.
This has become an all encompassing part of the Head of Copy's role and therefore they are looking for someone to come in and head up this area. The Head of Copy will be responsible for providing direction but is not a micro manager and would like a trusted colleague and advisor for this role.
They have completed all the social media research and groundwork and have a clear idea of what works for them and therefore it primarily needs a social savvy, commercially astute writer to drive it forward.
This will include managing and building relationships with their numerous bloggers (including identifying key bloggers, hosting events, breakfasts to share upcoming news and build strong bonds).
Their Head of Copy has established a conversational and chatty tone of voice that stays on the pulse of popular culture, and therefore the right person will keep abreast of what is trending, will align their products to key events (fashion, sports, arts etc etc)
