About the Role
You’ll join our E-commerce department and more specifically, the General Insurance (GI) Digital Marketing team, who are responsible for the management, implementation and delivery of all digital channels. This includes natural and paid search, affiliates, display, email, social, mobile and any emerging digital channels. Our aim is to live our brand values across digital channels, ensuring visibility of our products and services to the relevant audience in order to deliver against sales plans.

Put simply, your role is all about implementing and delivering our SEO strategy. You’ll be working alongside our Web Content and Marketing team’s as well as our Digital agency, improving our SEO to drive website traffic to our General Insurance products such as car, home, pet and travel. You’ll have excellent understanding and experience in SEO, including technical, onsite, creative content and outreach aspects of the channel. It’s important that you’ve managed a number of digital projects and have a can-do attitude.

About You
It goes without saying you’ll have in-depth knowledge and understanding of SEO techniques and tools, social media and digital marketing, web technologies and search engine algorithms. You’ll have proven experience of managing, developing and implementing SEO campaigns, be able to evidence your capability to analyse SEO campaign results and make recommendations to optimise and improve natural search results.

You’ll be educated to degree level (or equivalent) in Digital Marketing or a relevant subject. Ideally you would have worked within a SEO agency before or if you come from an in-house digital marketing team, than even better! You’ll have financial services experience, preferably General Insurance and will be familiar with the regulation and compliance standards. You’re great at building and maintaining relationships, you’re confident, have excellent communications skills and have strong negotiation and influencing skills.
