User Experience Testing

Through constant testing of the site and utilising best practice, make recommendations and where possible apply changes to optimise the user experience and overall journey on and the extended customer reserves site.

Where recommendations require on-site development, work with the appropriate team members to create a proposal and brief to be costed out by our digital provider.

Web Merchandising

Manage the SLI, search, navigation and merchandising tool – optimise to maximise sales on the website.

Monitor the Index and ensure smooth running of the feed

Update the Glossary/Synonyms

Content Management

Update all missing bottle shots, one-liners and three-liners.

Add all press clippings to product and producer pages.

Add all fiche techniques to product pages

Design content (promo boxed, new page templates)

Product surveillance and maintenance

With the content specialist investigate new styles of photography and video production to move towards our ambition of ‘The Home of Extraordinary Wine Online.’

Overall Marketing Work

Provide digital support to offline Marketing activities

Act as key member of Marketing team.

Provide web support to staff and customers


Excellent IT skills in website and database preparation and management – web design, html, photoshop, email platforms and SEO

Ability to work on own or as a team player

Efficient organisational skills

Wine Knowledge an asset but not essential

Excellent communication skills

Some previous proof reading skills would be useful but good English language and grammar knowledge very important

Confidence, flexible attitude and ability to work to deadlines essential
