You’ll help us to use digital as part of the marketing mix to extend our brand reach, engage audiences, create conversations and, ultimately, build meaningful connections with our diverse audiences.
About the role
Put simply, you’ll lead our digital team and its offering, providing direction for all national digital activity across the Trust. You’ll manage the 25-strong team, which sits within our in-house marketing agency, to deliver frameworks and outputs that underpin our key brand messages, raising awareness of who we are and what we do.
Accountability for delivery is key; you’ll make sure that the digital function is engaging the organisation and ensuring consistent delivery. While digital is obviously your focus, you’ll also play a key role in the leadership of the marketing agency, as well as actively contribute to the wider marketing agenda.
Whether you’re coming from agency or client side, inspirational leadership skills and high-level digital marketing expertise are a must. As well as in-depth, up-to-the-minute understanding of digital marketing and technology, you’ll be confident leading, developing and inspiring a large team.
Influential and entrepreneurial, you see the possibilities and opportunities that digital offers – and you have the intelligence and drive to exploit them and align them to our strategy and goals. You must be comfortable managing a £multi-million budget, and confident working cross-functionally and in a geographically dispersed, matrix structure.
