The Role

  • Responsible for all elements of the e-mail marketing channel
  • Manage the whole e-mail campaign process from design to end delivery
  • Work with the content and creative team to plan the e-mail content and visual look in line with the promotional calendar
  • Produce weekly reporting of performance covering the key metrics and analysis with actionable insights
  • Continually optimise and improve our email strategy through testing and implementing new processes and techniques
  • Develop new e-mail templates to ensure customers have an optimal experience with our e-mails regardless of the device they are using
  • Manage customer segments to ensure the messages sent are appropriate and timely
  • Develop new segments as appropriate to increase the performance and effectiveness of the channel for both acquisition and retention
  • Optimise the online journey for e-mail subscription
  • Work with retail and marketing (digital and offline) to grow the online database and report back on the uality of the contacts generated
  • Work with the online acquisition team on custom audiences for campaigns, creative for brand building or tactical e-mails
  • Manage the ESP relationship to make the most of any new developmets and drive initiatives
  • Undertake additional activities as required by the Head of E-commerce

Skills & Experience

  • Solid experience of e-mail marketing and customer segmentation
  • Good knowledge of Excel and web analytics
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Analytical with a commercial outlook and creative appreciation
  • Team Player
  • Knowledge of Photoshop and HTML an advantage but not required
