This Online Trading Manager role will lead the creation and management of content for the Travel businesses website, optimising for traffic & conversion targets, including suitability for sales, customer engagement, marketing communication and SEO purposes. Ensure that all sites are merchandised optimally and in line with current promotional activity.

- Own the onsite booking journey working with the UX and analytics team to maximise conversion
- Deliver the content strategy
- Ensure that achieving weekly sales and revenue targets are achieved
- Formulate merchandising plans and ensure they support the commercial objectives and is consistent with and co-ordinated with the wider ecommerce and marketing plan
- Ensure that all content activity manifests the brand positioning
- Identify key products to merchandise in order to drive effective online, e-mail and offline campaigns
- Share best practice with other markets within the Group E-Commerce function
- Embed & foster a customer focussed culture, delivering the relevant service for the customer (internal or external), whilst seeking and acting on feedback to make continual improvements to the customer experience
- Innovating and testing new content initiatives that drive sales / conversion / customer engagement

This Online Trading Manager vacancy is a newly formed role within an E-Commerce team in London. They require a commercially minded candidate to fulfil this role along with some key points below:

- 5 + years' experience in trading websites - merchandising, content etc
- Analytical - experience in using GA, Omniture or similar packages
- Understanding of online marketing
- Innovation delivery
- Self-starter & Entrepreneurial - used to working in a small but ambitious team
- Communication skills with web literate and non-literate audience
- Team management & leadership
- Experience of developing and maintaining strong partner relationships
- Experience of working in a multi-site environment
- Experience of analysing reporting and acting on data
- Ability to manage multiple projects across multiple websites

Our client is a leading brand within the Travel space who require an Online Trading Manager to join a developing E-Commerce team in London. This a new role working in an established business, but need a commercially minded individual to step in and help grown their online business. The client is trying to understand customer insight and behaviour in more detail and this role will be pivotal to that knowledge.
£50,000 to £55,000
