As the National Theatre communicates and engages with an increased range of audiences, with an ever-widening offer, CRM is a crucial area. The NT’s direct marketing communications need to be more targeted, more intelligent and more engaging than ever. The National Theatre is currently recruiting for a CRM Manager to join us in a role which is central to our eCRM strategy.
As a key part of this strategy the NT is investing in improvements to its technology platform, to allow us to send more personalised, timely and data-driven messages to our marketing database of over 600,000 people through use of a new eCRM system. Primarily, this will be through marketing emails, but in time will grow to include messages through our website and integration with Social Media.
Working in the Marketing department, the CRM Manager will be central in making successful use of this new technology, and in implementing a new data-marketing strategy. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues in IT and Box Office to ensure that the marketing data is synchronised with the main data source, our ticketing database. The role will also involve working with Marketing, Graphics and other departments in the organisation to create highly effective emails, through knowledge of marketing principles.
Candidates must have experience delivering direct-marketing communications in a fast-paced, time-pressured environment, and of driving direct sales through email marketing. They should also have experience of using a sophisticated modern marketing database and communications tool, such as Silverpop, Exact Target or DotMailer.
