This award winning agency is looking for a Social Media Director (Insights) to help some stunning, top tier brands boost their Social Media presence with intelligence. The agency has been named Agency of the Year on a number of occasions, with a burgeoning client list and with over 90% of its employees stating that it's a 'great place to work'. There is huge emphasis put on training and development, with regular appraisals and a great social calendar. The role includes managing a team of insights specialists (or Social Media Analysts) who work on getting data to make strategic recommendations based on the clients' online 'buzz'. You'll be assessing different available tools to get the best insights, and working on how the buzz tracking fits into other brand tracking for both digital and offline. The Social Media Director (Insights) role is a bit of a mish-mash - you need to be really knowledgeable about Social Media monitoring tools (such as Radian6) and have a really analytical and insightful mind, yet alongside this you need to be able to take insights and form creative recommendations from them, and present them to clients (along with pitches, proposals, strategies, results...) This would suit someone from an analytical background, but who loves Social Media and has some experience of buzz monitoring. You need to be able to see the bigger strategic picture rather than just Social Media...
