A major business based in Swindon is now looking for a Digital Marketing Manager on a 12 month FTC (Fixed Term Contract) after the recent acquisition of two exciting new businesses. This is a fantastic opportunity to manage all associated digital marketing activity across the two distinct brands. You will need a good broad range of digital skills and experience for this role, including SEO, PPC, Social and Content.

What you'll be doing

You will work with the Head of Marketing to develop a strategy and plan of activity that builds the brand profile and reputation of each brand and required sales. You will deliver the social media, SEO and content plans as well as paid search activity to build the brand and support the commercial performance. All of this activity and investment will of course need to be tracked and reported against to show ROI.

You will use the latest tools and techniques to ensure the websites are optimised to best convert site traffic, and supporting strategies will further drive more traffic to both sites. You will manage the external PR & Digital Marketing agencies and support the delivery of all PR campaigns through the digital channels. This is a big role, and a blank slate, where you can really put your stamp on the future strategy and direction taken by both brands.

What experience you'll need

It goes without saying that you'll be a digital expert. With a broad range of skills, you will have particular experience in consumer social media marketing across strategy development and deployment. You will have strong experience of developing/sourcing content and managing it across social media channels as well as optimising it for SEO.

You must have some good technical SEO experience, some paid search experience, particularly across social, and ideally some experience across website UX and conversion rate optimisation.

You will have excellent communications skills as well as copywriting skills as you will be required to write press releases and social media content. With particular strengths in social media you will pick up new thinking, tools and techniques quickly, monitoring the latest emerging trends. If you're not highly organised, able to multi-task, project manage and able to work under pressure, then sadly this role isn't for you.
