Michael Page Digital is working in partnership with one of the UK's largest and best known businesses, offering a variety of services to both B2B and B2C customers, in recruiting a total of 8 Ecommerce Managers to be based in Staines

Client Details

Our client is one of the UK's best known businesses, offering a variety of services to customers across the UK. They have offices in Staines, among other places.

The 8 Ecommerce Manager positions have been formed after a complete digital restructure. Sat in a wider Digital Sales team, each Ecommerce Manager will work on a small number of products, gaining analytical insights in order to be able to provide business cases for what changes to make to their responsible customer journeys. Once signed off, they will work with a scrum team to then deliver and test these changes, which could be anything from where a CTA is placed on a page, to implementation of a new online asset or change to a customer journey.

This person will have to be able to make commercial judgement calls on which changes are likely to deliver the best return, measured against which will take the most tiem and effort for the scrum team, in order to prioritise those projects first.

The ideal candidates for the 8 Ecommerce Manager positions could come from a variety of digital backgrounds, including marketing, analytics, and CRO, but they must have an understanding of the key principles around what makes a website work - ie reducing number of pages in a customer journey, cross sell/upsell, diverting traffic to less costly channels etc.

Candidates might have come from a ecommerce start up background, or as part of a big business before.

Job Offer

A salary of £30000 - £40000 plus bonuses, benefits and the opportunity to be part of one of the largest and most impressive digital teams in the world.
