Strategic Planner - Insights
A global communications and PR agency are looking for a data driven strategic planner to join a fledgling insights and planning team.
The agency are an international group of exceptional minds that help clients develop research-led strategies in order to achieve business and communications goals. Their work helps consumer brands, corporations, governments, NGOs and NFPs and many more organisations across the globe.
Their research and planning team is full of fantastic researchers and creative strategists who create some of the most effective communications campaigns around, specialising in traditional PR and comms as well as digitally-led projects.
The strategic planner will fit into a talented team of researchers and strategists. Their primary responsibility will be to extract insights and creative strategies from data gathered by the team, working alongside the planning director to then shape and mould campaigns based on evidence and quantifiable data.
Responsibilities will include:
*Develops and presents strategic communications recommendations for a range of clients.
*Multi-tasking over a number of projects ensuring quality is never compromised.
*Researching and gathering data to develop well-informed strategic plans for clients
*Examining clients' businesses to get to know their brands and understand their objectives
*Development of cross channels communication strategy proposals
*Producing cohesive and intelligent plans to bring success to campaigns
*Generating original ideas with other members of the team
*Identifying potential problems and devising ways to rectify them
*Leading/managing audience research, insights analysis and data reporting projects
*Liaising with senior members of staff to receive feedback and create improvements to strategies
*Working alongside our account teams utilizing their creative thinking approach to client issues
*Involvement in new business and organic client growth from writing proposal insight/ strategy/ creative; presentation design and coaching teams on delivery and pitch theatre.
Skills & Competencies:
*A proven track record in developing strategic plans for a variety of clients
*A good knowledge of the media and how strategy planning influences it
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Excellent presentation skills
*The ability to make complex subjects understandable
*The flexibility to work over a number of projects and balance your workload
*Be able to derive insights from campaigns to deliver to the senior management team
*Have an interest in digital platforms & analysis as well as using proprietary measurement tools
*Assist in the development of junior team members through strong leadership skills
*Ability to lead projects
*Able to demonstrate the competence and degree of authority/gravitas necessary to win over and influence colleagues and clients
