SEO Content Executive - Leading online publication - Central London

A world leading online fashion/sport/entertainment/news publication based in London are looking for an SEO Content Executive to work as part of the existing SEO team. While working directly with reporters in the news room you will be responsible for optimising the editorial output in order to ensure maximum visibility and performance in search engines.

You will have your finger on the pulse when it comes to current affairs and international news events and trends. You will also have an understanding of online publishing and the UK newspaper industry, as well as online marketing and social media.

You will maintain an awareness of new ideas within online publishing for SEO and optimising performance and communicate ideas and best practice recommendations effectively within the editorial team.

To be considered for this role you will need some experience in an editorial/copywriting position and use of content management systems such as wordpress. Experience with web analytics is needed, such as with Google Analytics, to carry out post campaign analysis. Keyword research and competitor analysis is also involved.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone confident and motivated with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A good fit will be someone with an editorial/ copywriting background who has moved into an SEO/ digital marketing position.

The client are offering a salary of c£23,000 for the right candidate. Due to the 24hr nature of this online publication working hours will be shift based and will involve working some weekends and night shifts.
