The business is growing fast and now stands for so much more than its humble roots; as part of the business' increased focus on consumer engagement, Zoggs is investing in its direct to consumer channels, with marketplaces forming a key part of both the UK and European channel strategy.
As part of this change, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for an eCommerce Marketplace Manager to join the team and help drive eCommerce sales through Amazon and eBay. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and implementing Zoggs' marketplace trading plan, and will play a key role in shaping the overall channel strategy for the business. Zoggs has multiple offices globally with its UK HQ being based in Lightwater, Surrey.
Detailed Job Description
The eCommerce Marketplace Manager will have a diverse role, with responsibility for managing the business' end-to-end marketplace activity. Working with our marketplaces agency, the eCommerce Marketplace Manager will:
Develop and deliver the UK marketplace strategy
Own marketplace P+L
Work with the Merchandise Planning Manager in order to ensure that relevant and suitable ranges are sold across Amazon and eBay
Manage Marketplace agency to ensure product listings are optimised
Ensure all content is optimised for sale across the marketplaces
Implement price basket policy in order to maximise sales and profitability
Work with marketplaces to deliver profitable promotional activities
Deliver detailed data driven reports to enable recommendations and decisions that drive improved performance
The eCommerce Marketplace Manager is a key role within Zoggs' eCommerce transformation and requires a driven individual with an entrepreneurial outlook. You will be passionate about online retail and will have a good commercial understanding of Amazon, ideally with experience as both a vendor and seller. A data-driven individual, you will also have a good understanding of brand, a strong belief in a consumer-centric approach to retail and will be a collaborative team player, working for the greater good alongside personal KPIs. You'll also need to be a great communicator, creating effective working relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Most importantly, you will be a person who wants to join a business in order to really affect change and deliver results.
What's on offer
A salary of between £40,000-45,000 depending on experience + bonus and package as well as an opportunity to build a career with a fantastic business and brand.
