The successful candidate will be a highly organised and creative individual, displaying a passion for SEO and will have previously worked in a fast paced environment. In order to be considered for this position you should have experience in all aspects of SEO including; on-site architecture, keyword research, link building, Excel and Google analytics.

Client Details

My client is a leading online UK retailer stocking over 10,000 products for big-name brands, designer labels and high street favourites. They are growing considerably and are constantly expanding their range, following trends, stocking all essential beauty items while also offering luxury brands as well They have doubled their growth over the past year and are now looking to also grow internationally.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Help develop and execute SEO strategy to drive traffic, revenue and new customer acquisition via web & mobile
  • Build an SEO roadmap across technical SEO, keyword research, onsite optimisation, content creation and link building
  • Work with the Social Media Executive to develop link building and content outreach campaigns by building and maintaining third party relationships
  • Perform keyword research in coordination with business and marketing objectives to optimise existing content and uncover new opportunities
  • Set up content creation process that fits in with the brand proposition and wider content marketing strateg
  • Monitor, evaluate and regularly report on search results and search performance across the major search channels
  • Keep pace with SEO, search engine, social media and internet marketing industry trends and development
  • Collaborate with the Online Marketing Manager, and the wider marketing team on day to day content as well as larger projects to achieve the SEO and business KPIs
  • Organise quarterly strategy days with an external agency
  • Use a range of tools to audit, monitor and analyse our website and competitive landscape
  • Collaborate with wider team to implement technical and onsite SEO roadmap
  • Advocate SEO throughout the business


Core Competencies:

  • Minimum 2-3 years Organic search background (client or agency side) delivering strong SEO results within an ecommerce industry (preferable)
  • Experienced in UK SEO best practice, as well as basic knowledge of international requirements.
  • An understanding of on-site and off-site SEO best practices
  • Knowledge of performing tasks such as keyword research, meta data recommendations, competitor audits
  • Creating written technical SEO recommendations for internal development teams
  • Experience of SEO Tools e.g. Moz, Pi Datametrics etc
  • Some understanding of HTML
  • Be up to date with SEO/Social/Content industry trends
  • Ability to create innovative ideas to assist SEO efforts
  • Hands-on self-starter with the combination of analytical and commercial skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast changing environment
  • Work with the Online Marketing Manager to develop and deliver the SEO strategy
  • Interest in international markets
