The International Web Merchandiser role
Working within our multi award winning Ecommerce department, you’ll have real working autonomy towards our International online channel. Driving online sales growth, building on AOV and improving conversion rates against target, you’ll report back to Senior business stakeholders at weekly trading meetings. You’ll implement our SEO strategy across owned categories, effectively driving quality and ensuring we remain ‘Best in class’. Taking ownership of on-site category merchandising, it’s your responsibility to review performance and analyse impact. You’ll influence Category Buyers and Marketing teams to drive a strong promotional plan and online range extensions, ensuring this stays consistent with both our International and UK site.
The skills you need as a Web Merchandiser
Commercially focused, you’ll have experience in creating a plan to increase sales with an understanding of both search engine and conversion rate optimisation. We’re looking for someone who has worked in an online retail environment using Web Analytics to drive insight and identify key opportunities for improvement. This is a busy, fast-paced role so you’ll also have the ability to organise and prioritise a large number of tasks whilst remaining calm under pressure. Flexible, enthusiastic and motivated, you’re able to create effective networks of people who can give you the relevant information.
