Head of Digital and Ecommerce
A Warwickshire based retail business is looking to strengthen its digital presence with the addition of a Head of Digital and Ecommerce. An exciting newly created role, this position will lead the digital and ecommerce activity of this business.
A well established and highly reputable high-end retailer with a strong 'bricks and mortar' presence and a growing online offering. My client is UK based with a strong international presence. This role will be a board level appointment.
The Head of Digital and Ecommerce will lead an existing digital team and will play a lead role in developing the ecommerce offering. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving ecommerce growth and enhancing the overall multi-channel offering. The role will encompass:
- Leading digital, ecommerce and marketing activity
- Shaping and helping deliver the ecommerce system to drive traffic and sales and improve the customer experience.
- Managing the digital and ecommerce team
- Represent the digital and omni-channel agenda at board level.
The ideal candidate for this Head of Digital and Ecommerce position will possess extensive ecommerce and digital marketing experience. You will have worked within online retail, ideally within a high-end brand. Moreover you will have held a senior leadership role and reported into board level.
