Working for a leading independent professional services business who operate on a local, national and global scale, this role sits within the corporate communications team and is ultimately responsible for management and delivery of corporate messages across earned, shared and earned channels within the UK market.
Key responsibilities include:
*Managing the UK's external content strategy ensuring the availability of ongoing, relevant and timely content for PR, social media and digital channels.
*Day to day management of an external PR agency and media relations strategy in order to generate favourable media coverage for the business.
*Publishing all relevant content on the company's owned and shared digital channels
*Supporting the company's social media strategy; ensuring relevant and timely content publication through corporate social profiles, guiding employees use of social media and to champion this throughout the business.
*Supporting the company public review strategy, monitoring and responding to online reviews, and managing the collection of client reviews.
*Engaging with internal stakeholders, at all levels, and communicate business messages internally to contribute to employee engagement.
*Supporting the head of external communications by monitoring, evaluating and reporting on the UK's PR and social media performance on an ongoing basis.
We are looking for someone who has a strong written communication skills, an excellent grasp of English, keen attention to detail and a strong ability to write, review and proof copy.
You will come from a background of social media management, either agency or in-house, and have experience of developing, coordinating and publishing content across multiple digital platforms.
Stakeholder management is a crucial aspect of this role, therefore, you must have the ability to build, nurture and manage relationships with internal and external partners, in order to secure buy-in and achieve objectives.
Whilst there will be a strong support network in place for you, this is an autonomous, fast paced and varied role that will require exceptional multi-tasking and prioritising ability in order to be successful.
In terms of timescales, interviews are due to take place this side of Christmas with a view to the post holder starting in January 2019, however, this isn't necessarily set in stone.
