The Senior Web Analyst position is responsible for reporting, dashboarding and analysing all key performance indicators across the company's digital properties, using data and best practices to make recommendations for stakeholders to optimize the customer journey across multiple platforms.
You must have a strong understanding of quantitative methodologies, as well as an exceptional talent for finding hidden opportunities within data and recognise different trends.
Web Analyst Key Accountabilities:
+ Drive data strategy supporting key strategic brand initiatives with data insights and opportunities
+ Partner with key departments such as Social Media, eCommerce, brand , CRM in order to leverage data opportunities to drive incremental sales, conversion and consumer lifetime value.
+ Responsible for the correct configuration and setup of all tags within the different websites
+ Support with Analysis of A/B testing results
+ Main point of contact for technical resolution of reporting issues
+ Responsible for regular site performance reporting
+ Identify gaps in the data available and recommend improvements
+ Proactively identify opportunities for site analytics team engagement in site tagging, campaign tracking, online site enhancements, marketing capabilities and identifying and interpreting business trends
+ Produce analysis and actionable strategic recommendations, ideas and innovations that can be tested.
Our Ideal Web Analyst:
+ Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Maths or similar.
+ Minimum 5 years experience as a data analyst in an ecommerce business.
+ Passionate about data with an inquisitive nature to keep discovering new opportunities.
+ Highly numerate and mathematically literate.
+ Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment
+ Highly skilled in using and implementing Google Analytics or similar web analytics tools.
+ Strong analytical skills with the ability to present findings clearly.
+ Attention to details
+ A good understanding of inbound marketing (such as SEO/PPC) and their impact on traffic and the customer journey, site optimisation and ecommerce.
