A rare but fantastic West Yorkshire opportunity for a versatile and commercial Ecommerce Director to join this unique pure play online retail business. Already established, my client is about to embark on the next phase of growth following significant investment and exciting plans.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the ecommerce director will be both a commercially and technically strong, highly ambitious leader and tasked with augmenting the ecommerce team with a hands-on approach. Commercial, innovative and strategic this ecommerce expert will be well versed in a B2C online retail environment and be very customer insight driven in their approach. Additionally to this, the ideal candidate will be forward thinking and have the autonomy to bring ideas to the table in order to really drive customer membership, sales and CPA down.
You will have full ownership of the website - analysing, reviewing, recommending and building strategic capability to drive revenue and profitability through acquisition, conversion, increasing average order frequency and continuing to evolve the user experience. The remit includes defining and executing an ecommerce strategy, increasing basket spend, acquisition and retention.
Managing an existing team of c10 the ideal candidate will sit in a digital first retail business or e-commerce led brand. You will have unrivalled knowledge of digital marketing and be able to point to demonstrable commercial success in a fast paced digital business.
The position of ecommerce director is a board level role with a very competitive package including options and bonus. My client operates in the online retail sector and is based in West Yorkshire. This position is therefore commutable across West Yorkshire and further afield including areas of Manchester.
