Head of Income Generation
This newly created role is absolutely pivotal to driving the success of the income generation team at this fantastic charity. There has never been so much choice for people in terms of deciding to support/donate to a charity and charities are having to become more and more sophisticated in both their acquisition and retention methods/channels and also how they maximise a lifetime value from a donor.
The Head of Income Generation will lead a team of circa half a dozen people to cover all B2C channels including lottery, community, regular giving plus many more. This person will drive the strategy and proposition development in order to meet financial targets for the organisation. Understanding best proactive on both customer acquisition and retention activity, stripping things right back to competitor monitoring, audience profiling, effective timing plans to drive campaign activity all need to be put in place.
This will suit someone coming from a private sector B2C background who is used to delivering results and managing/owning a P&L. It needs to be someone who has good training and rigour to their work, with leadership experience and has a real 'can-do' attitude and can work at pace to deliver results.
