Ecommerce Trading Manager - 12 month FTC, Watford -
We're delighted to be working in partnership with a market leading retail business that are searching for a dynamic Ecommerce Trading Manager to cover a period of maternity leave for 12 months.
You will become an integral part of the Ecommerce team which is accountable for ensuring the delivery of B2C sales and conversion targets via all marketing channels in order to achieve strong business growth, all within budget. The role comes with three direct reports whose daily focus is to ensure that the website is fully optimised and delivered across all marketing channels and mobile devices.
Key responsibilities will include being responsible for marketing trade planning, including seasonal peaks; Delivering strong seasonal product offers and introducing new product concepts and ranges, ensuring the offering is best in marketing and continually evolving; Using web analytics to track KPI's and identifying areas that need improving, including channel specific improvements; Developing a strong knowledge of product categories and key competitors.
The role would suit an experienced trading professional with a strong ecommerce background from within a B2C retail environment. This is a fast paced and reactive environment so the ability to multi-task, work to tight deadlines, and prioritise your workload effectively is essential. We're also looking for someone with excellent communication skills, commercial awareness and problem solving ability.
Previous experience of using Endeca/ATG, and prior experience of working with UX/Development teams will be highly advantageous but isn't essential. Similarly, it would be ideal if you have some previous team management experience, however, if you have experience as a Senior Web Trading Executive and you're looking for a step up then we'd still like to hear from you!
